Ripped from the Headlines: Saturn opposed Neptune

The Saturn/Neptune opposition was exact yesterday, and here are a few items I gleaned from a quick review of internet headlines:

“This Movie is Not Yet Rated” – a film about the MPAA movie (Neptune) ratings board of “moral experts” (Saturn); protection for children, or cencorship? (May require viewing of ad to read article)

Katie Couric on a Photoshop (Neptune) diet (Saturn)?

Delusions (Neptune) of responsibility (Saturn): John Mark Carr’s deceptive “confession” of killing JonBenet Ramsey leads to media saturation about a ten-year-old murder case. Tragic stories about pretty little girls make it so much easier to ignore (Neptune) stories of more far-reaching importance (Saturn).

California is poised to become the first state in the nation to require (Saturn) industries and residents to cut (Saturn) global warming pollution (Neptune).
But our governor is still a joke.

Record number of Americans lack (Saturn) health insurance, leaving them unprotected against illness (Neptune). Take away subsidized health insurance from the members of Congress who enjoy that benefit, and I imagine we might see rapid progress toward universal health care.

Flight Controller (Saturn) Had Little Sleep (Neptune) Before Lexington, KY crash.

FDA launches new fear (Saturn) campaign against Canadian drugs (Neptune).

In the new film “The Illusionist” a magician (Neptune) uses his abilities to win the love of a woman of a higher social standing (Saturn).

Religious sect (Neptune) leader and polygamist Warren Jeffs was arrested (Saturn). Polygamist sect leader will be isolated in jail.
