Thursday Thirteen, Vol. 9

thursday 13 vol. 9

Because it’s late, and it’s been a long day, and I’m unspeakably tired… just 13 simple thoughts to keep in mind for tomorrow’s Virgopalooza Solar Eclipse/Autumnal Equinox extravaganza:

1. Be patient.
2. Be kind.
3. Give people the benefit of the doubt.
4. Measure twice, cut once.
5. Take your time.
6. Be reasonable.
7. Get enough rest.
8. Nothing is as urgent as it seems.
9. It’s not a contest.
10. Give yourself a break.
11. Let it go.
12. Breathe.
13. Imperfection is sometimes exactly what is needed.

It’s going to be an interesting eclipse for me! I have no idea what it means but I’m a Virgo, with my Virgo being my 8th House ending right at 29 degrees! My Natal Mercury is right at 0 degree Libra and I just found out transiting Mercury is also in Libra. I keep asking myself, since this eclipse is right at the ending and beginning of the 8th and 9th House, what exactly does it mean for me? My natal Virgo Sun is very early Virgo, by the way, and was affected by the Virgo new moon at the beginning of the month.

What a day this has been. I like your Thursday Thirteen for this eclipse, autumnal equinox. I’ve been telling people all week not to pick fights over little things that won’t matter in the long run, try not to be edgy, and check all details. On a personal note, I had two very, very psychic moments today, one when someone told me about a job offer they’d just gotten, and I responded with the name of the company that had made the offer, and I was right, the other when a colleague was describing her house renovations, and I asked what shade of gold paint she was using, and she hadn’t mentioned a color, but she was using gold. Thanks for the thirteens, you’re one of my favorite sites to visit.

Thanks for your blog..I enjoyed it

  • Francesca, I hope you had the loveliest of birthdays and that the year ahead is full of all the usual wonderful stuff – love, prosperity, fun – but also enough challenges to keep things interesting. Thank you so much for reading the blog.

Tasha, I have a couple of articles on the main part of the my website that you might enjoy reading. One is about eclipses in aspect to the natal Sun, and the other is about eclipses in the different houses of the chart. I can’t add a url in my comment, but follow the one embedded in my name, above… it will get you to my articles page!

    Sweet dreams, Nancy. 🙂

And Marian, that’s a truly unique reaction to the recent eclipse! (Hmmm…. gold paint sounds interesting… what shade *was* she using?)

    Welcome, Amy!

And thanks to you all for visiting, reading, and sharing your comments.
