Things are much quieter than last week – at least in the skies! The Sun and Saturn offer new solutions to unhealthy habits; Venus and Neptune open our eyes and dispel illusions in relationship and finance; and Mercury trines the North Node – how can teamwork light up individuality? The Aquarius First Quarter Moon moves us, unmasked, toward our recent New Moon intentions. And April answers a listener question about dealing with awkward questions about astrology. Plus: Old grudges, autumn woods, and what an astrologer believes!

[1:18] Sun trines Saturn (Nov. 4, 9:36 am PST) at 12°47’ Scorpio-Pisces. The Sun’s Sabian symbol is 13 Scorpio, An inventor experimenting and Saturn is on 13 Pisces, A sword in a museum. Consider experimenting with new techniques, tools or supportive therapies for managing emotions.
[4:16] Mercury trines the North Node on Nov. 6 (6:31 pm PST) at 05º50’ Sagittarius-Aries. Mercury is on the Sabian symbol 6 Sagittarius, A game of cricket and the North Node on 6 Aries, A square brightly lighted on one side. Communicating with others can assist you in getting a clearer picture of who you truly are.
[7:25] Moon Report! The Aquarius First Quarter Moon is on Nov. 8 (9:55 pm PST) at 17º19’ Aquarius-Scorpio. The Sabian symbol for the Moon is 18 Aquarius, A man unmasked, and the Sun is on 18 Scorpio, A woods rich in autumn coloring. Step out unmasked into the woods rich in autumn coloring and take your first tentative steps towards a more authentic life.
[11:26] Lunar Phase Family Cycle (LPFC). This is the First Quarter phase in a LPFC that began on Feb. 9, 2024, with the New Moon at 20º40’ Aquarius. The Full Moon in this LPFC is on Aug. 9, 2025, and the Last Quarter is on May 9, 2026.
[12:48] Void-of-Course (VOC) Moon Periods. On Nov. 5 (2:23 am PST) the Moon squares Neptune. The Moon is VOC for 4 hours and 54 minutes and then enters Capricorn (7:17 am PST). Are you looking at situations through your own eyes, or through a lens that came from someone else?
[13:37] On Nov. 7 (2:37 pm PST), the Moon conjuncts Pluto. It’s VOC for 21 minutes, then enters Aquarius (2:58 pm PST). During this brief VOC period, take time to assimilate recent lessons about power and control and what they might have taught you about yourself.
[14:22] On Nov. 9 (4:23 pm PST), the Moon sextiles Venus. It’s VOC for 3 hours 37 minutes, then enters Pisces (8 pm PST). Consider changing up your routine at home, making it a little more convivial, a little more communal and just a little bit out of the ordinary.
[15:49] On Nov. 9 (5:15 am PST), Venus squares Neptune at 27º21’ Sagittarius-Pisces, bringing awareness regarding relationships and finances.
