April Elliott Kent has studied astrology since 1973 and has practiced professionally since 1990. She’s the author of three books: Astrological Transits (Fair Winds Press 2015), The Essential Guide to Practical Astrology (Alpha/Penguin 2011) and Star Guide to Weddings (Llewellyn Worldwide 2008). Her website, BigSkyAstrology.com, has been a popular online destination since 2000, and she’s a regular contributor to MoonCircles.com. April has lectured for numerous local astrology groups as well as the ISAR, SOTA, and United Astrological (UAC) conferences. She’s a member of ISAR, NCGR, and OPA, and President Emeritus of the San Diego Astrological Society. Her “Big Sky Astrology Podcast” is new each week. She makes her home in San Diego, California.
