Autumn 2010 is a difficult
time for weddings, astrologically speaking. Venus is weak by sign (Scorpio) from
September 8 through year's end and retrograde from October 8 - November 18. Between
the Sun's square to Saturn, Mercury retrograde, and an eclipse near the winter
solstice, it's very difficult to find many dates that work.

I've found that the
Sun square Saturn can be really difficult in a wedding chart. (This doesn't
seem to be the case with the conjunction or opposition.) There may be the feeling
that the marriage is too much hard work; that things never work out for you; that
the "life force" of the marriage is suppressed and you just don't have
the will to work things out. For this reason, I find it's best to avoid dates
between the Sun's entry into the sign in which it will square Saturn, and when
it finally leaves the aspect.
